READY to SHIP OVERVIEW: Ready to ship stockings have already been knitted. Once purchased, the stocking is washed (using wool wash) and then blocked. The washing and blocking is integral to creating that stocking shape. After that, the knitted loop is sewn into the stocking, followed by sewing the cotton liner into the stocking if ordered. Then, I complete the tag per your customization specifications. It is important to note that these are absolutely NOT made on 'knitting machines' nor do I have a staff of knitters on hand to knit these. I do all of the work on EVERY Christmas stocking! Finally, the stocking is shipped!
