April showers and musings on Spring
So Spring is upon us and the old adage "April showers bring May flowers" has at least started with a bang. We wanted to get a head start taking care of our lawn so we mowed the lawn for the first time this year at the end of March. Then came the deluge. Over the first 6 days of April we have lived in a cold rain forest; receiving 4" of rain while hovering between 30 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
