About the Tartan Haberdashery

According to the Cambridge Dictionary, a haberdasher is “someone whose job is selling cloth, pins, thread, etc. used for sewing, or a shop where these things are sold”. 

The Tartan Haberdashery takes this idea and puts a modern spin on the reality of a sundries shop providing the opportunity to decorate, accessorize and enhance your life.

I left teaching, picked up a camera, pursued curiosity, explored my creativity + slowly created my handmade business.

I'm a Scot {and, quite frankly, addicted to tartan}.  I have a variety of creative endeavors {Photography + Etsy Shops + Web Design + Knitting Pattern Designing}.  I very much adopt the mantra of 'live a quiet life and work with your hands.
