Personalized Fair Isle Christmas Stockings Hand-Knit and Customized for You
$225.00

Hand knit, personalized, heirloom style Christmas stockings to enjoy today and for decades to come! As a child, each of my family members had a personalized hand knit stocking hanging over the fireplace. My hand knit stockings were designed and created with a modernized twist on that classic of the past. I create each stocking on my circular needles using soft wool-acrylic blend yarn. The Christmas stockings can be hung in either direction. The stocking is also personalized with my brand new stocking tags... I'm pretty excited about them!!!!
Main Image Colors: charcoal (main), cranberry + claret red, grass + kale (green tweed) + wheat
WHAT IS INCLUDED? a customized hand knit stocking, storage box, name tag, free shipping.
OVERVIEW: The stocking is hand knit. Once completed, the stocking is washed (using wool wash) and then blocked. The washing and blocking is integral to creating that stocking shape. After that, the knitted loop is sewn into the stocking, followed by sewing the cotton liner into the stocking. Then, I complete the tag per your customization specifications. It is important to note that these are absolutely NOT made on 'knitting machines' nor do I have a staff of knitters on hand to knit these. I do all of the work on EVERY Christmas stocking!

STOCKING CARE:
Moisture or humidity and high temperatures may adversely affect your knitted goods. Make sure your knitted fabrics can breathe and keep them out of bright light. To avoid damage from pests, place a cedar block or sprinkle chips close to your knitwear. Store in a dry location. I recommend purchasing one of the rectangular plastic storage containers that is about 6-8 inches tall to store your stockings in throughout the year. I leave one of the corners open so that the items can breathe. If you need to spot treat your stocking, use warm water with a 'green' soap. I use a product called 'soak' to treat them but many knitters even use a touch of ivory soap. I do not recommend using any soaps that are designed for delicates--they still have chemicals in them that can break down the fiber.
Please don't hesitate to ask questions, thanks!
